Description

No 1 self defence school in Kent, great for building confidence and getting fit. Great for children to prevent bullying. Ideal for all the family.

Company description
Jujitsu The Cougar Club was part or the World Jujitsu Federation, an organisation which began in 1976 and spans over 50 countries. The Cougar Club joined the WJJF in 2003 and has embraced the skills and teachings of Professor Robert Clark the founder of the WJJF. In 2012 after the untimely death of the founder of the WJJF Robert Clark the Cougar Club had decided to leave the federation and launch into a new chapter for the school whereby expanding our diversity in the realm of unarmed self-defence but still making sure we lose none of the ethics embedded into us by the WJJF. The Cougar Club strongly believe that our teaching motivates, builds confidence and encourages mutual respect, particularly in our younger students. The mother of Japanese martial arts, Jujitsu offers a tremendous range of activities to choose from and develop, thus the system offers the instructor the opportunity to choose and select his or her own personal requirements and those of the student. You will learn in a safe and encouraging atmosphere many techniques for throwing, punching, blocking, kicking and of course falling safely.
You will practise with other students, who are ready to help and new techniques are only introduced as you develop your skills. I wish you luck as you begin your journey into the world of Jujitsu. You will succeed in developing new skills and techniques as you embrace a new deep confidence that you, your family and friends will notice. Charter * To create a school that offers a fun family atmosphere for individuals from 4 - 65, of any ethnic origin, religion, circumstance or disability. * To train in a martial art that will create a new found confidence and respect for others, whilst increasing their fitness levels.
* To teach a martial art which help children understand how to handle bullying and situations which may occur outside of school. *To give adults the skills in how to protect themselves on the streets, whilst remaining within confounds of the law. QUESTIO
